A note from us...
Welcome to our first html (web-based) email. We hope to use this to keep you informed of what's happening here in Manila. I believe that now we can keep you updated and involved so much easier. We also want to especially Thank everyone for you for your prayers and support. We're know that we are not here alone, all of the supply from you, our partners is here with us. Thanks Again!!

Making Disciples
We are excited about our "big kids" service. As some may know it's held after our regular Saturday service and is by invitation. We are using this time to build more Word and the Life of God into these kids. We take about 30 minutes, preaching and teaching. They look up scriptures in their Bibles, letting the Bible talk to them. We are seeing these kids change before our eyes as a result. Rudell (Pictured) is one that we are reaching.

Reward Time
Last week we had a reward time to reward them for attendance, memory verse, and inviting. We gave school supplies (a big favorite) and snack food, that would be a favorite too! They were happy. We want to do more for these kids, we are working on plans and will give you opportunities to sow in the future. Stay Tuned.

...for the next 5 weeks we are having a contest to see who can invite the most kids! We will have 1st-4th or 5th prizes maybe more. Right now we have some sporting goods as prizes. We will add the grand prize, maybe a bicycle or guitar to spice up the contest! We want a gift for the kids, not for a family member to seize, if you can understand that. So we are being deliberate in our attempt to get prizes for kids. We will keep you posted on the contest. It will be great, I know we will have many new births!!

In Closing...
For the last two weeks I have been ministering on the heart of man. The Lord wants pure hearts, and according to:

 Proverbs 4:23   "Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life."

We are the ones who are supposed to keep our 'heart-garden' FREE from the thorns, cares and distractions. See Mark 4 for more info.
