Children are Us!

Every Saturday we reach out to the neighborhood children. We are not into entertainment, but we preach the Word of God to these children. Of course we can't just preach to them like we do to adults, so we get creative. They like to be involved and like any child they like to laugh. So we use them as much as possible.  Usually Mark finishes up the day and recaps with his animated preaching style the kids really like. It has been such a pleasure to minister to the children of the Philippines. We will have a great Harvest of Children to present to the feet of Jesus as the result of our work. It always amazes us when we lead a group to receive Jesus, their countenances register the Truth of the New Birth. We have been doing this ministry for about 4 years now, it is really big in our hearts. We are believing for big things. We want to bless our kids with material things along with the ministry they receive each Saturday. We want to love them not only with words, but with "stuff" so that they can see the goodness of God. Right now this ministry is a big part of what we are doing, so when you partner with us this is part of the fruit of your investment.

What are we doing now? - October 2008

The A-kids have been at work learning faith. It wasn't obvious to us when we started which direction to take these kids, but after a while it became clear. Faith! So after that change to directly teaching faith principles I believe we are on a good track. We all want to be God-pleasers and we feel the earlier we can build the life of faith into these kids, the better.
